Natasja Hellenthal's deceptively simple tale of a woman traveling from town to town entertaining others with her true story about escape from a dark wizard, cloaks a variety of deeper themes, freedom, imprisonment, and the evolution of the soul among them. As her main character Tana narrates her personal story to simple villagers, her desire to wake the people to evil and unite them against the wizard could also be seen as a metaphor for social and political revolution.Well written, Chained Freedom flows smoothly from start to finish and for all its potential messages, is still, at its heart, an engrossing fantasy novella. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Freedom versus Imprisonment *by J***R on February 22, 2014* Tana Woodwolf holds the attention of the townspeople with her story.
