**Q: Will these speakers fit in a 2005 cts cadillac**
A: yes

**Q: Any one have issues with one of these speakers causing Head unit to shut off at higher volume then cut back on ? Wire connections are solid .**
A: The only time I've ever experienced protection mode is when I had polarity wrong on one of them. At low volume, the reverse polarity will distort the sound but the radio can handle it but at high volume the clipping causes the radio to shut off. Other than that, I've never experienced turning up the volume and my head unit cutting off.

**Q: How many come in the box?**
A: I wish the picture showed 2 speakers, I ended up paying more from another seller, Because I just passed over these thinking there was only 1.

i have Honda Accord 2013 with Pioneer AVH 2300NEX Stereo, after i replaced the 4 speakers by Pioneer TS-A1680F. i thought i'm gonna need a subwoofer. but the sound is clear powerful more than enough

Way way better than the stock speaker, I returned the top speaker and bought this set, because this set comes with the adaptor so I dont need to drill some holes on the door.It's a mid-end speaker, not the flagship, but the sound is pretty good, after I add a small amplifier, the sound is much louder and superb.The high is pure and clear, the mid is rich, the bass is punch and deep, the separation and detail is good, the sound stage is wide, I can feel the car door vibrate.For the bass, you may feel not enough, but that's the real instrument's sound if you go to a symphony concert, I am happy with this set.
