These are a must with the brake job unless you can clean up the old ones and they are in excellent shape. Mine had a ridge worn around them, and so they would have impeded the brakes from freely centering themselves. I got the right ones for my Subaru Outback, and they seem to be excellent quality.

Clean sliders that have no pits and ridges keep the brake pads centered better, and they wear more evenly. These are a must with the brake job unless you can clean up the old ones and they are in excellent shape. Mine had a ridge worn around them, and so they would have impeded the brakes from freely centering themselves. I got the right ones for my Subaru Outback, and they seem to be excellent quality.
