An excellent book for insight into the perspective of people in other cultures and their view the world. Uses examples which are helpful to understand there may not be a right and wrong, but rather just a difference. We ask all our short-term missionaries to read this book prior to joining us on mission trips to Kenya. However, it can be applied to relationships here in the U.S. also. I highly recommend it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helpful Guide To Deal With Conflict Across Cultures

While the first part of the book gave a very foundational approach to cross cultural communication and how various cultures view and handle conflict, I thought the last section was most beneficial for getting practical principles of how to handle disagreement and conflict across cultures. A helpful book to stand alongside Elmer's other books, Cross-Cultural Connections and Cross-Cultural Servanthood.
