I didn't see the instructions at first so put it together without them. When my husband found the instructions, I went over it just in case and everything was as should be. This means it's pretty easy to put together even without instructions. The noise is very low. I can here my music or TV over it with no problem. Putting it together originally took about 10 minutes but taking the bike off and folding it up is about a 2 minute process.
