Insulation was very flexible. I was able to secure it around a couple of bends in the pipe without cutting it using zip ties and electrical tape (Scotch 33). Made for a fairly easy job without needing a service call from AC company.The adhesive is very strong and provides a good seal for the insulation. TIP: Be sure to fit the insulation on the pipe before you remove the tape and expose the adhesive.Good product. It was time to have it changed.I started to remove the old sleeve then cleanup the pipe with brake cleaner and rags to make sure it was as clean as possible.I added some insulated tape first as the first insulation layer then I put this sleeve on top of it and finished the job with UV and water resistant tape.I had issues removing the film protecting the glue on the sleeve. Peeling the film pulled also the glue out for the most part on one side if not both side so you have to go slowly but it is not bullet proof.Another issue was with the elbow on the pipe. Even though the sleeve is flexible, I just couldn't have it slide properly there. So I had to cut multiple parts and plug wherever I could.
