Being in the Black community we work shift hours and not getting enough sunlight to give us our daily dose of Vitamine D. My Doctor back in 2018 told me that my Vitamin D was low and I was to take 1 tablet 50,000 IU every week for 4 weeks and one tablet once a month to maintain and my vitamin D levels back to normal.My Phlebotomist who been drawing my blood for years said to take this because many people of my community fallen sick to Covid19 and what was found in their blood was low Vitamin D levels. As of tonight, 05/25/2020, when one of my friends who had Covid19 was hospitalized and was told to do what was prescribed, he's white and I love him to death. Vitamin D does not prevent Covid19 but it will give you a fighting chance to get through it. I had a mild case of Covid19 minus the fever and chills, vomit, or loose stool. Ask your doctor to see if your vitamin levels are normal, if not, this may be right for you!

With the new reports coming out about the benefits of sufficient levels of vitamin D, this an excellent way to get that. The capsules are small and easy to swallow. The 50,000 iu's allow one to just take one capsule a week to maintain a healthy level of D in your blood. I highly recommend these supplements. I am not a doctor and recommend your checking with your doctor to see what level of D you need to have and or maintain.

LOVE this stuff ! Since I had Lyme Disease back in 2011 but Vit D level had gone to 12 and regular Vit D both over the counter and given by the pharmacy could only get it raisedto 15. For years I have had this problem until last year when I started taking the Bio Tech D3 50,000 IU. Blood tests after a few months showed my vit d up dramatically and in fact I only take it now 2 times a week and my Vit D was 95 !!!! Doctor says I can finally back down a little to see what happens. Meanwhile I can say that this Bio Tech D3 is the ONLY thing that helped me ! Even If I had to take it once a week or once a month I will always have this in my medicine cabinet ! It helped where others did not.

I had been taking D2 50,000 once a week on Dr orders. It was definitely good, but I found this to be better. It seems to last longer in my body than the D2. Vitamin D is necessary for many things - strong bones are one. But also can affect mood - depression. While I'm not 'depressed', I can get a bit down, a little bluesy. And I find that this D3 not only picks me up, but it seems to stay longer than the D2, so I don't get those slightly bluesy feelings between my once a week doses.

My doc recommended that I take one of these per week to maintain my D level and it seems to be working. They also recommended this brand as it has the least fillers and are typically fairly consistent with their formula. I'll keep taking it as long as it keeps working for me.

Bio-Tech produces a high quality product. I have used the 50,000 IU Vit D capsules for at least eight years to balance a serious Vit D deficiency that caused terrible physical problems. My levels are monitored by blood tests and I I now need to take a lot less but still use them as a weekly or biweekly supplement. I decrease or increase usage as dictated by the blood tests.
