Also, the mat is NOT color fast, using just a damp white rag and rubbing the mat you can see the maroon coloring transfer to the rag. I have several other gel mats of a similar price that I've had for 4 years now that show zero signs of wear even though they are in a higher traffic area. This is not a quality product that will last long term. ### ⭐ Does Not Last! *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2017* We have used the mat in the kitchen with either bare foot or soft house shoes only and the top of the mat started peeling and "shed" small pieces all over the floor after 20 months of use and we had to throw it out. This one is not a cheap mat for me and being spoiled within a year is shame. I've not used any chemical or soap water.
