A: Made in Taiwan. I'm disappointed the wrong answer comes up first for me. It's not USA.

**Q: Whats the difference in diameter between regular and slim version? Would be nice to know.**
A: the 1/2 drive is 1 3/8 dia, the 3/8 drive is 1' dia and the 1/4 is 13/16 dia. dont know the slim version diameters

**Q: Where are these made?**
A: its an American company that has them made in Taiwan.. ive had these in my shop for about a year and have not been nice to them with my milwaukee impact wrench's and they have held up to the abuse time and time again.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Truly The Best Pinless Design...

Usually pinless designs have a spring which pushes against the bottom of the socket mechanism ball...This mechanism is one piece and is rounded on the bottom which rotates on the spring...After much research I've discovered that the spring is usually the first item to fail as the spring wears and eventually get hung up where the pin goes through the ball and jams the rotation capability...Turns out this is very common...Ironically I tried a Husky unit and the spring jammed within 5 minutes of operation...This obviously is not normal for most brands, but still shows a design weakness... However, the Lexivon socket/ball mechanism is two piece with almost zero chance of the spring wearing out and/or jamming the rotation...Imagine a ball with a convex on one side and a matching concave on the other side...This ball is between the spring and the socket mechanism ball...The ball of the socket mechanism rides on the concave mechanism of the this ball, while the spring pushes on the convex side to hold everything in place...This design of ball to ball on the Lexivon allows for much smoother operation than the ball to spring on the others... I tested the Lexivon at full torque of 450 ft. lbs. with my impact and it showed no signs of wear whatsoever...Of course higher torque ratings might show different results...Maybe someday I'll run into a friend with a more powerful impact gun to test further...Would be nice if these companies would torque rate their impact sockets and other impact accessories... They have a lifetime warranty and from most reports Lexivon is very good at honoring them should there ever be a problem... I expect them to last for years as the quality is there... kd
