She could relate to almost every part of this story. For those of you who are put off by the car seat situation. We discussed that she had a big girl car seat not the baby kind of car seats. That did it for her, and she was not at all surprised. It gave is a chance to talk about all the different kinds of car seatsThe relatable aspects of this book, the wisps of hair and silly hair if a baby, and now the long beautiful hair that needs to be washed and brushed very often. We talked about the knots that sometimes occur in her hair, and how her mommy works the knots out very carefully. She is getting ready for a ballet recital and needs to wear her hair in a top knot,so we discussed how test would look. We talked about the found she lines now, especially pizza and chocolate ice cream. Weekdays are for treats, so she gets to have dessert on a weekend, and often her playmates and their parents go out for pizza on Friday nights. We discussed how much fun it is to be four and to talk in full sentences, to be able to run and play on the equipment at the gym. So many reasons to love being four, and so many reasons to want to be five, and a little scary. The illustrations are vivid and bright and depict all the activities discussed.Highly Recommended. prisrob 05-14-14 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jamie Lee Curtis kid book *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2009* I am impressed with the book itself and really like Jamie Lee Curtis so I wanted the hardback copy, not paperback. Apparently, the hardcover is not stocked everywhere and I had to choose a seller.The book was advertised as a "bargain book" and said it might have a small mark stating this. Actually, the book came without the cover and the book itself has not got the cute picture that is on the jacket. I was going to give it as a gift and don't feel that I can do that without the jacket.To add insult to injury, it comes with the packing slip stating that it was advertised as having no jacket - I reread the description and still don't see that! They also shipped it in a bubble envelope and the corner was crunched.So, buy Jamie Lee Curtis's books but we should all probably let sellers know that we want to know EXACTLY what we are getting so we can plan accordingly.
