This is paint for high temperature applications.NOTES - BTW:A. Volatile - smells up the room. (have ventilation - open window)B. Dries quick to get 2nd coat on 5 minutes later.C. Painted/Covered bare metal in seconds.D. Not much time to work with.E. Tried to apply w paper towel method, but wouldn't work, too volatile.F. Disposable boar bristle "chip" brush most effective to apply and throw away.Dries quick and resists flames and heat!

Great coverage and heat resistance, but it has the most noxious, powerful fumes and is the most volatile paint ever used by my husband -- and he painted his way through college, and has been painting ever since! This cannot be overstated!  We had fans on well into the night, with both doors and windows open. I have allergies to chemicals and had to hide out in another area of the house. But, it's a great product -- just buyer beware. The smell lingered for a few days. It was hard to bear. But, the product does what it claims it will do.

I purchased this primer, paint and clear coat in hopes of it being more durable for motorcycle exhaust than other products I have used. The above picture is after one short, local ride. All instructions and drying times were followed. Though the paint & clear coat did not hold up, the primer has continued to do well.
