    Just another one of Encore's rip-off recipe books recirculated.

First recipe "Pancakes with Yogurt Almond Flour" is really off allrecipesDOTcom posted by Sami around 8-29-2009 and not by this fake Johanna Davidson and Encore Publishing.They either have a typo in their stolen version or it is just part of the game they play to try and say they didn't steal a thing. Instead of the 1 cup of almond flour for the pancake sin the original recipe, they have "2 cups almond flour" and that will NOT work with all the other recipe proportions. There is a lot of science or cooking chemistry in cooking certain types of foods.  Pancakes are one of them.  In order for the pancakes to rise and cook properly, the baking powder, baking soda and solids like flour and liquids have to be in certain ratios.  When they make it a recipe that won't work for pancakes unless you're building a pancake dog house and using these in place of brick because they won't be light and fluffy at all.The first direction in their book:"1. Preheat a non-stick pan to 375 ° F (185 ° C). Coat the surface of the pan with butter to lightly grease."The first direction off the Internet web site where they stole the recipe:"1.  Preheat a non-stick griddle to 375 degrees F (185 degrees C). Lightly grease the cooking surface with butter."They are both exactly the same except Encore threw in the words "Coat" and removed "cooking" from the original recipe.  Oh, they also used the symbol for degrees and allrecipesDOTcom spells it out. So it is 99.48% exactly the same.And on and on and on.
