Since then, I have had it all the way up for about 6 hrs throughout the day. It worked well up until about a week ago when I noticed that it was sliding back down after I pulled it up at the usual height. It came fully assembled and it was easy enough to use right away. Nevertheless, moving it up and down is a little cumbersome, which is understandable, given that it is not an expensive stand.
