Turn the cap around and place on top of tube. Simply press cap down to break the seal of the tube and remove cap carefully. Position the tip of the tube at the base of the pet's back between the shoulder blades and squeeze out the entire contents of the tube to form a stripe as you move from the shoulder blades along the back to the base of the tail. My cat now has a raw hamburger patch and completely missing all fur in the area the med. was applied** A: Hertz is actually extremely dangerous for pets. Just spoke to my vet after my cat had burn marks on his skin after application and my vet filled me in that Hertz is known for seizures and burning. Terrible product to put on your pet. Never buy this crap. **Q: What is the chemical in this product?** A: Im no vet im not sure even with tablets but it works,if your dog is kept in out of yard.And **Q: Can this be used again if cat was bathed 2 weeks after first applied?** A: My groomer said 2 days after a bath you can use it. I will never recommend this product. It burnt my cat's skin. She knows I put it on her so she thinks I hurt her, which makes me very sad. **Q: I have two stray cats and the older one is losing hair on his tail. Could it be caused by ticks and fleas? After using it on my own cat, she now has a patch of missing fur on her back. I regret not reading the reviews sooner, as I have since learned that this company has a reputation for making animals sick. Given these safety concerns, I strongly advise against using this brand. Update: I am highly upset!!!! The spot on my cat back has gotten worse. Please for the love of god don't EVER use this on your cat! Don't use the this brand on anything of your animals. They have a reputation and I'm sad that I didn't do the proper research before I used this on my cat.
