Lightweight and battery-powered with a large display, it’s designed for serious players aged 6 and up seeking tournament-level precision and versatility. ## Description DGT2010, the official chess clock of the World Chess Federation FIDE. The DGT2010 was introduced in 2007 and received the status of "Official FIDE Chess Clock" in June 2008 after tests by four top-level arbiters concluded that the clock is in full accordance with all FIDE rules and regulations. The DGT 2010 is suitable for use with many games and it has Japanese and Canadian Byo-yomi settings for the game Go or Baduk. Some features of the DGT2010 were changed in November 2010 to comply with popular timing systems. The main differences between the new model DGT2010 (sometimes called DGT2010SG - Second Generation) and the previous version are: The front buttons are dark blue instead of red; For every manual option, the last setting is automatically saved. Even after switching off the timer or using other options this setting is saved; Options for Scrabble are added; Bronstein delay with multiple time controls can be set; In Canadian Byo-yomi the extra time can be added automatically after the required number of moves; Some preset times were amended to more popular settings; For detailed information about the differences of the new model DGT 2010 with respect to the previous version please see this article. For more information, please read the DGT 2010 manual. ## Features - DGT2010, the official chess clock of the World Chess Federation FIDE. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0033Q44FA | | Are Batteries Included | Yes | | Best Sellers Rank | #112,483 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #850 in Wall Clocks | | Brand | Philos | | Colour | Multicoloured | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (811) | | Display Size | 7.87 Inches | | Display Type | Digital | | Enclosure Material | ABS plastic | | Frame Material | Plastic | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00878904006363 | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions W x H | 20W x 6H Centimeters | | Item Type Name | timer | | Item Weight | 0.4 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Digital Game Technology, B.V. - The Netherlands | | Manufacturer Part Number | 4672 | | Model number | 4672 | | Mounting Type | Tabletop | | Number of Batteries | 2 AA batteries required.
