## Description

The Lezyne Sport Drive HP Hand Pump is a compact pump and an awesome value. The machined aluminum barrel hides the Flex Hose, a short rubber hose that extends from the main body of the pump and attaches to either Schrader or Presta valves, making it much less awkward to pump your tires on the side of the road or trail. The high-grade plastic Composite Matrix and polished alloy construction mean the pump looks good and feels good, and will last a long time. The Sport Drive HP's Flex Hose doesn't have the ABS (Air Bleed System) that allows you to precisely deflate without unthreading the hose, as found on the more expensive standard Drive HP pump, but for this price, it's very hard to beat. The pump also includes lightweight composite matrix frame mount.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it come with a bicycle mount to attach it to the bike frame?**
A: Yes, it has a mount that attaches between your waterbottle cage and your frame. Even so, it is small enough to slip into a jersey pocket but too big to fit into my saddle mounted bag.

**Q: Has anyone had the problem with this pump's contact point on the presta valve unscrewing the core when disengaging the adapter?**
A: This is indeed a problem, but the fault lies with insufficiently tightened cores.  To prevent cores from unscrewing, always tighten them with a wrench before installing new tubes or packing a spare.  When your tubes are ready to be discarded, consider reserving a core for your kit.  They can be sandwiched between a folded piece of packing tape for easier management.  I recommend keeping the tubes as well; they can be used for making patches, making rubber bands (very handy for securing Altoids tins), or as sleeves to organize and protect cement tubes and tools.

**Q: Does anyone use this to pump up a Sun Mountain V1 golf push cart's tires?**
A: I use it on motorcycle tires (street bike) in emergencies. It takes 5 min of pumping to get to about 25lbs. The tire is a 180/55/17. Maybe that will give you some comparisons.

**Q: Is the  Lezyne Sport Drive Hp Hand Pump for Presta valves  or  Schrader valves ? or both?**
A: it's both.  One end of the detachable hose is presta and the other is schrader.  One thing to note that I don't think is mentioned is that the hose screws into the valve, as opposed to the cam action with the lever that you normally find.  This makes it a little more tedious but I feel it works better than the small pumps with the cams.
