Unfortunately, these are not for me. Before I found these, I was going to go to Costco and get $2K + hearing aids. I did go to Kaiser and have a complete hearing test--- high-end drop-off in both ears like most of us that grew up in the 60s. I did a lot of research and still think these were the best choice. I think these did exactly what they were advertised for. Beautifully packaged with a nice case. Liked the size. I had to tell people I had them in--no one saw them. I do not think the Costco "real" hearing aids would have been much different and I do not need the Bluetooth for music etc. Things were louder and I could hear more (even my feet shuffling across the floor). I could turn down the volume on the TV, but voices did not seem any clearer. Did not have a problem with clear voices before apparently. Just my wife telling me I need hearing aids. For me though, they were just not life changing enough. Do not think I would actually use them often.I have decided to return them. In the future when my hearing becomes worse enough I may try again. These are excellent--but not what I need at present. The booklet explains that it takes some time for your brain to get used to it. I find this true because I’m hearing a lot of noises I wasn’t aware of before.
