The purse was a great size without being too big- it fit my iPhoneX, large battery pack & cords, sunglasses, small wallet/card holder, lipstick, small travel Advil bottle, and a small snack while closing easily. I love the pocket on the back too! I would slip my phone here when I wanted quick access to it as I was taking pictures throughout the night. I used it as a cross body (the strap pulled long) for most of the night but my sister doubled the strap to a shorter shoulder purse. It worked well both ways.
