## Questions & Answers

**Q: do these damage the wall once they are removed?**
A: Yes.  I just took down my lights.  They will either peel a small chip of paint or leave behind adhesive and bits of foam.  either is easily fixed.  You can remove the adhesive and foam with a product like goo gone without damaging the wall.  Flat paint may leave a stain.  Chipped paint can be filled with a thin layer of spackle, sanded, and painted.

**Q: For Hue Lightstrip, which one to select: 8mm or 10mm?**
A: I just ordered these (10mm) and the standard hue lightstrip doesn't fit in them!

**Q: Do these actually lock the LED strip inside like a mounting clip for wires?**
A: Yes, they do and they do a nice job. I don't know if you can tell from the attached pic because I was too lazy to unload the entire cabinet but the clips are holding a flat LED light strip cable that goes from the bottom of the cabinet to the top. They've been in there so long now I don't even give them a second thought.

**Q: Are these brackets easy to remove once I’m ready to move out of my apartment in the future? Would it remove the paint too?**
A: I used them on plastic for a temporary purpose but they were very easy to come off.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly powerful, outdoor resistant!

I got these to use with a few LED strips I was going to setup as Christmas lights. I wanted to affix them to my gutter, but I didn't want to drill holes or hang cables. I didn't know if these strips would work with the harsh cold winters of the east coast, but for the low price I took a chance.The tabs seem to fit my LED lights, although a little snug. I was a bit concerned if I was squeezing the lights too much or bending the circuit board, but things seem to be working well.I was able to affix these to my gutter with no problem. I just cleaned the surface, let the surface dry, and then held down the clip in place firmly for 20-30 seconds to ensure it would stick. I placed a clip every 8 LEDs or so to provide enough support. To my surprise they've been up a few weeks and they seem to work great. Granted the lip of my gutters may be providing a little protection, but they've been hanging in rain and below freezing temperatures without an issue!I was very, very impressed with these and I'd like to let you know that they worked outdoors for my Christmas light setup. I don't know how long they'll last, but if they ever fall off I'll update this review.

I bought these for my tv backlight strip to mount of course on my tv. My tv back is more porous. It is NOT smooth at all. I had already tried another brand and it was no go. These are fantastic! I’ve had them up for over 6 weeks now (waited to do my review) and not 1 has fallen off or needed to be pushed down. They actually do stick on the porous back of my set. I’ve tried them in other situations also and the same results. On kitchen plaster walls to hide cords under the cabinets…works perfect. I highly recommend these. Inexpensive and you get way more than you need.
