Is it slow and gradual or quick?** A: They change colors gradually. **Q: Do they have a timer?** A: No timer. Also, only half of them worked. I even tried to change out the batteries, and that didn't help. I would not purchase this item again. **Q: Can these lights be put into the tub with you in the tub?** A: I don’t see why not. I put them in vases with orbeez. Now if they are in tub there is nothing to hold them still so be careful you don’t sit or step on them. Not sure if the pose another hazard so beware. Contact manufacturer to be safe. **Q: How to turn this on?** A: Open up and remove the paper covering the batteries. Then replace top and screw on. Turning a bit turns it on and off. I did have a couple that did not work at all. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute 1" Waterproof Lights : Batteries Supplied *by L***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 June 2021* The little box contained 12 colour changing lights, so cute and very colourful. They are not solar lightsNo complexities with these, just unscrew the base of the light, remove the plastic paper disc between each battery - yes each light needs 2 batteries which are included. The light immediately comes on once you have removed the disc. However, if you want to save the battery power, gently unscrew the base of the light and the light will go off. This does mean however that you would need to turn the base of each light in order to switch them on when dusk falls. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value lights *by W***9 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 June 2020* The media could not be loaded.  These little lights are so bright and easy to use. I use about 4 of them in a little water feature I made in my garden. They sit in approx 47cm of water and still give a really good light. It's lovely to sit and watch the water changing colour in the evenings.
