Review: Patience is key! Result is amazing! - This was only my second miniature kit, so it took me a while, but I really enjoyed it. The instructions were fairly easy to follow and even though some parts were tedious, I found it really relaxing. I can understand why some people say this is not good for beginners an it’s true but if you go into knowing that some parts require A LOT of patience, you’ll be fine. Just be aware of what you’re getting into. You definitely need tweezers because some of the pieces are TINY! I used little dishes to keep everything separated while I worked, and a nail file/sanding block to smooth some of the rough edges of the wood and even the paper pieces. I also used some of my own glue to make sure everything stayed put. They do give some extra flower pieces which was helpful because I did ruin a few. I gave up on the hanging plant because I just couldn’t get it to look right. But I love how everything else turned out! The little light is adorable and everyone who sees it loves looking at all the tiny details.

**Q: What tools and/or supplies are required to put it together?**
A: Craft knife, small scissors, tweezers is a must! I use fast grab tacky glue, it adheres quickly like rubber, double sided tape and glue sticks (it allows your wallpaper and floors to go on smooth, no lumpiness) and a ruler, clear really works wonders, oh and some crazy glue. I’ve completed over 40 kits, these are my bare necessities I can’t go without and I learned through my own trial and error.

**Q: Do you need to purchase any other tools or glue to assemble or is everything included?**
A: No.  It’s all included, even tweezers.

**Q: what other supplies do you need?**
A: Everything you need comes with the kit. But...I've put together 5 of these and I've learned there are a few things you can buy yourself that makes things a lot easier. Buy some Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue. It sets up really fast, so much better than the glue they provide.  Some small and medium binder clips. Those can be used to hold small pieces together while they dry.  Some extra white tempera paint. They don't give you enough to get good coats of paint on the walls.  A pair of needle nose and small wire cutter comes in handy, too.  And finally, an x-acto knife for cutting out tiny pieces of paper.

**Q: What are the finished product dimensions?  Height, width, depth?**
A: The base it sits on is roughly 7.25 x 9 inches and it's 7.25 inches tall.

As someone with absolutely no experience with projects like this, I honestly had a lot of fun putting it together. It came with almost everything needed to complete it, though I would recommend having a pair of metal tweezers and a small piece of electrical tape for the final steps. The included double-sided tape was surprisingly useful and worked great. I haven’t had time to turn the light on yet, but it looks perfect so far! The project took me less than a month to complete, and the process was very enjoyable. The instructions can be a little confusing at first, but once you get the hang of them, everything becomes much easier to follow. Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out.
