Needed a tablet with a hdmi socket for where WiFi wasn't available to cast content.It's not the best looking tablet, it does have a plastic feel, and whilst the build quality is ok, it's not going to win any design awards.But performance wise it's impressive. The 2gb ram certainly helps speed things up. No noticeable lag between apps, touch screen is very responsive and battery life decent -although not as good as the Kindle fire 7.Having owned a kindle fire 7, as a budget tablet, the Teclast is considerably better.IMO. Much faster, brighter, larger screen and full Android wihout the klunky amazon skin. If you can spend £10 more than the Kindle, this is a much better machine.Hdmi out works flawlessly. Although you'll need a mini HDMI to HDMI adapter, not included but I got one elsewhere on Amazon for£4.99.All in all, a very good purchase.
