The colours and general finish are very becoming and will definitely keep the little one excited for quite a while (kids are much more into aesthetics than grown ups tend to think). This toy does have that superb retro appeal that is so rare in toys nowadays. I can even imagine a grown up collector or a professional being amused receiving something like this as a gift, so my hopes are high for the number of years the little ones (both genders) could spend playing with it.All in all, totally authentic collectable feel about this item.UPDATE: After a couple of months since purchasing this, have discovered a chipped corner!
