It seems literally bulletproof and I tested every piece with a neodymium magnet. It's all 18/10 or 304 stainless, which is of very high grade. (It draws a magnet, but with a much weaker force than iron, ordinary steel or 18/0 stainless. Aluminum has no magnetic draw, nor does chrome-plated brass. 304's magnet behavior is very difficult to fake.)The only exceptions, the end cutting circle grids, are likely 18/0 stainless, perhaps for sharpness reasons, and they should be dried after washing to prevent light corrosion.The suction cup smells like rubber, but it's simple to remove (remove the holding nut, draw out the bolt, and pull off the cup. Then you use use the stainless screw clamp instead.The entire thing breaks apart and can be machine washed. It even includes a spare white bushing. This company knows what they are doing and it shows.
