That's right, a unicycle. I do a lot of touring and tricks on my uni, making a bit of money on the side for myself or various charities. I needed a tire that was reliable, puncture resistant, could hand smooth paths, pothole infested roads, and a bit of off-roading. For these various surfaces I was looking for a tire which could alleviate the following: rolling resistance, absorption, and reliability.The rolling resistance is minimal. It is very easy to maintain a constant quick speed even with a fixed gear. It helps that when combining this tire on a 26" rim the actual circumference is around 28". I have a 29" frame and knew that I would have room to spare, but I suggest you double check the clearance on your frame. Paired with a small hand pump, I can increase or decrease the air pressure on the spot for whatever kind of riding is required. Smooth newly paved roads, pump in more air. A bit of off-roading, let a bit of air out for extra grip. Rarely is any adjustment needed; I tend to keep the tube under the tire firm. The grip off road is firm, yet not clingy. I can maneuver the wheel almost as easily as on smooth pavement regardless if I ride over sand, dirt, gravel, or grass.What really amazed me about this tire was the absorption. To absorb any impact all I have is this tire/tube and my legs. That said, I can barely feel bumps and potholes. Descending curbs, stairs, and other small obstacles is much easier. I think that even my bounce has increase by a few inches, though it's hard for me to measure and irrelevant to most other cyclist. As I previously said, I tend to keep the tube pressure high making the tire firm. Despite this, I have not noticed a drop in comfort.I do not make it a point to roll over obstructions, obstacles, or damaging debris, but sometimes it is unavoidable. Scumbags like to throw glass bottles onto the street, apart from the various shards of metal and anything else which tend to ruin your ride. Most of the time you can avoid it, sometimes you can't see it until it's too late. Time will tell how well the tire can withstand these environmental factors. The tire wall seems thick and resilient, plus other reviews have stated their continued use for several years. Obviously the frequency of use is a major factor, but if I can get a solid year out of this tire without loosing a tube to glass or metal shards, I'll be content.Needless to say this tire exceeded my expectations to this point. It has been a month and I have a long ride ahead of me, but from where I'm sitting it'll be an easy cruise. For the curious I mostly ride in urban areas (Brooklynite), but get out of town every few weeks for a nature excursion. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice ride quality *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2023* These are excellent. They have a soft flex under the weight of the bike, which kind of works like a suspension/cushion. The material is very durable. They last longer and are much better quality than the factory tires that came with my bike. I ride many miles and I'm on my second set of these.
