The papers inside the box implore purchasers to contact Lion Sports, the distributor of the trainer, if there were any problems or missing parts. I did this. They were friendly but not particularly fast or helpful. After several weeks of back-and-forth emails to about a bolt that seemed to be the wrong size, they sent me this reply: "That is the correct bolt. You can try gently tapping it in with a hammer. Sometimes the paint makes it a little tight. If that doesn’t work then I guess you would have to return it." I had to forcibly thread the bolt through the frame, then had to POUND it with a rubber mallet. I'm pretty surprised I didn't strip the bolt in the process. The cable you are supposed to clamp on to the handlebars for the "5 levels of resistance" is poorly designed and fell right off. I'm giving it 2 stars because now that I've got it together with a bike on it, it does, in fact, do what I want, though I've had to rig up the cable to adjust the resistance.
