One of the first products produced by the company was the GU Kolymvari Chania Crete Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This legendary olive oil has been recognised throughout the world and the tradition continues today. A necessity for advanced and larger facilities came up in 2007 due to the rapid increase in demand for our excellent products.Extra virgin olive oil.Grown from olives and harvested in a region near our Kolymvari oil mill. **Q: Can this olive oil be applied on skin thanks**
A: If you are used to applying to skin then can’t see why not . Personally I’ve never used olive oil in that way .

**Q: what is the expiration date? Purchasing March 2020**
A: I purchased in March 2020 and the expiration on my 3L Tin container is 07/2021
It is on the top printed under the lot number

**Q: It this cold pressed?**
A: Printed on side of can it says “ It is extracted under cold extraction to preserve its rich aroma and healthy nutrients........obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means”

**Q: Is it high in polyphenols**
A: Dont know but after trying quite a few olive oils, this is the nicest Ive tried and will continue to buy it as it is my favourite olive oil.
