I can see it could be a weakness but make sure it is well pushed up and the button is fully extended . Reason for 4 stars rather than 5. Has been used everyday for a week during this hot spell of weather with no problems. We have the chocolate brown. Looks great with dark rattan furniture. Lightweight and easy to handle but robust due to steel poles and strong fibreglass type spokes.
