The only thing is to size down. She is wearing a 3-6 month in clothes and I ordered that size and it fits her very large. I will be reordering the 0-3.Update: company gave me full refund on the 3-6 month costume and this was very easy to return item. I ordered the 0-3 month for my baby girl but costume is smaller size and was still large for her. My girl is in the 80th percentile for weight and 60 for height so she is not small yet these were big. I would guess the 0-3 would fit a 6-9 month old . IHope this helps.
