Product Description The Lautus Pets cooling mat uses the latest heat-activated technology (PCM - Phase Change Material) to absorb heat and keep your dog cool for up to 6 hours! Tests show PCM cools better than traditional bamboo, stone, water and other gel cooling products. Made of thick but soft, scratch-resistant, waterproof PVC polyester your dog will be comfortable for hours while cooling down after playing in the summer heat. The double-sealed sections prevent leaks and maximize the cooling effect by preventing the cooling material from being squeezed out from under your dog. PCM is heat activated - the crystals absorb heat and transform to liquid. To re-charge the pad, simply remove the cooling pad from the heat source (i.e. your dog) and place it somewhere cooler than 25C / 77F. The liquid inside will change back its solid, crystal state - ready to cool your dog down again. No need for water or electricity. No need to put in fridge or freezer - though this naturally speeds up the process. Available in two sizes (90x45cm and 90x60cm), they are ideal for medium & large dogs but work for any dog. Cleaning Simply wipe with a damp, soft cloth. Storage Just roll or fold up and store anywhere.
