DollaTek trademark Reg.NO:013726393PWM turn voltage module LM358-PWM2V can convert PWM digital signal into 0 to 10V analog signals.Can be used in the PLC or other industrial panel switch signal interface.By adjusting the PWM duty ratios to adjust output voltage.Module size is small, easy to apply in different places. Module working voltage: DC 12 v - 30 v.(power requirement: more than 100 mA)PWM signal receiving frequency range: 1 KHZ - 3 KHZ;PWM signal input level range:Fengfeng value of 4.5 V to 10 V level, jump needle at 5 V.The class level signal mainly for conventional industrial control CARDS (e.g., MACH3 boards), 5V CPU interface;Fengfeng value between 12 and 24 v level, jump needle at 24 v.The class level signal mainly for conventional PLC interface.PWM conversion range: 0% - 100% PWM conversion 0 to 10V Permissible error: 5%. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used with a 3.3v pwm signal like the output from a raspberry pi?**
A: I have recently checked these modules and they do work with 3.3V logic providing that the PWM pulse width is adequately long  to trigger the opto-coupler. 
I had three of 8 ordered come with with short circuit voltage regulators though. ( I removed the reg and supplied at 12.00V DC instead and they worked OK.
The circuit is not very linear when used with pulse widths as intended ( ie to match the two stage low pass filter before the op amp ) due partly to the excessive capacitance (C5) connected across the opto coupler ( C5) input and also the op-to coupler response. It works better with this IC removed ( easy to do as its a PTH IC) but to get less than 1 bit error at 8 bit conversion major mods are required to the circuit including removal of the opto-coupler and a 2:1 gain increase in the op amp stage to give a nominal 0-5.3V output for 3.3V logic pulses
When modified it can achieve better than 0.5 lsb linearity at 8 bit with an analogue output update rate of approx 50Hz.  Stability and drift will depend on the stability of the 3.3V pulse train but if thats stable it can provide a cost effective and accurate DAC.
