Our sturdy 2 metre high walk-in crop cages offer ideal protection for large fruit and vegetable patches. Made from high grade square aluminium tubing and steel reinforced joints, Gardenskill Walk-In Crop Cages can be easily extended in 2-metre modules to cover any area, and can be erected anywhere in the garden as a temporary or permanent structure. Comes with 20mm woven bird mesh netting.

Review: A good fruit cage - This is a good sized fruit cage that could be used with a variety of soft fruits. The square tubes fit together well and is strong and durable. The netting is also of a good quality. The one fault with the product is the plastic spikes provided for sticking in the ground. Why oh why not provide durable metal spikes ?????
Review: Wished I hadn't - I have bought loads of stuff from desertcart over the years, but this is the first time I have felt needing to leave a review. First of all the kit was missing essential items so when it arrived it was unusable. Admittedly these were replaced quickly, although one of the missing parts was an aluminium strut and the replacement had been bent into a 90 degree angle by the courier! Anyway this was a pain but not my reason for reviewing. The struts are poorly engineered and I had to file the rough finish off quite a few to get them to fit and they are covered in wafer thin paint which has already started to peel in places. I had imagined that, as a complete, kit this would be a tailored net whereas it is just a cheap thin flat net which is hard to arrange neatly despite the suppliers advice to make "hospital corners". How they got it looking like it did in the photo I don't know. My main gripe is the cost, nearly £180 delivered for 13 poles, some plastic joints and a huge baggy net .. would have gone back but by the time I had finished battling with the net, my missus had started planting :(

**Q: Does it come with a door**
A: Actually I bought it thinking it had a door.
I don’t think it did. In truth I found it so annoying that we took it down probably 2 years ago! We have almost an allotment style squared off plots so that you could get into it but as I recall it was troublesome digging in there and trying to get in and out was challenging.
If I bought another one I would definitely spend more and get a proper door.
( this is memory so it may not be completely accurate. It is true though that we the gardener and I took it down as it drove us mad! ) hope this helps.

Good quality item, Very well constructed cage, looks like it will last for many years to come, fits on my raised beds a treat, will be able to move it around my allotment very easily, can get good access to plants, perfect height, with absolutely no maintenance happy days.
