It works well and has good range. I actually own two of these receivers now. I had received one with my first Taranis transmitter purchase and I've worn the crap out of that receiver but it still works well. I bought this FrSky X8R Receiver for my newest TBS Discovery drone build and it has been working very nicely for me. It's easy to bind and get setup even if you're just using PPM or SBUS connection with it. It's easy to set Failsafe on it and it gets really good range for me. I would recommend this receiver if your building a larger sized drone in like the 450-500 class. ## Features - With RSSI PWM output (0~3.3V) - Parallel two X8R to become a 16 channel receiver. - SmartPort enabled, realizing two-way full duplex transmission. - More number of channels: 1~8ch from conventional channel outputs, 1~16ch from SBUS port,or combine two X8R to become a 16 channels receiver. - All 16 channels requires the FrSky Taranis, or the XJT module bound in D16 mode.
