Don't expect OEM. *by J***B on Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2018* as with all things, you get what you pay for. these were about half the price of OEM on amazon and their quality certainly reflects that. The instructions are a joke, hardware seems far cheaper than OEM. Bars and brackets were sealed in plastic but all had marks/scratches. Bars had two decent splits in the black paint. I ordered with zero time before a road trip, so had to proceed with the install asap. The brass female pieces which catch and secure the bars to the roof rails strip way too easily. The screws that secure the length of the crossbars are wildly inadequate for their task - its just a threaded screw that goes into plastic like a little tikes toy.Lastly, getting the plastic pieces to slide into the rail tracks on the explorer was borderline craziness. The plastic was molded poorly and nearly every edge need to be 'shaved' down due to the extra plastic. You could tell it was just a QA issue - the piece fit fine once you shaved down all the edges. This added a few minutes to install since i had to sit and mess with them with a sharp blade. One of the four did not require any extra plastic work - it was produced correctly.Overall though, i must say that they did survive our road trip without moving. I used them to secure a roof bag in between them and the roof rails (bars were around it, it was not on top of them) . I would be very hesitant to recommend these bars for anyone putting actual weight on them (hard cargo boxes, kayaks, etc). There's NO WAY they are engineered to match the specs of OEM product. for light & occasional usage, they are okay. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent Less-Cost Option *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2018* Once installed, this rack looks like factory crossbars and doesn't detract from the appearance of the vehicle. It also has a weight rating higher than most that aren't name brands.The negatives are that the bars flex quite a bit under weight and weights that are well within the acceptable limit will touch the vehicle rooftop on bumps, etc. Also, when we initially installed it, it appeared the pieces didn't fit. We had to use a utility knife to shave plastic away in areas where it had not been cleared away after the moulding process.Ultimately, it serves our purposes and is an aesthetically pleasing option, but not without some work on our part. ### ⭐ Poor Quality *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2018* I disliked the whole process ordering received the first box with cross bars sticking outside of box when delivered. It was packaged this way and did not happen during shipping. Instructions are terrible you can’t read them. Paint job is terrible the paint is bubbling upon them. Light weight construction. They flexed enough when loading car to carrier that the brackets on carrier hit the glass moon roof. I would never by anything from them again.
