The first one he used for memory verses. He loved it immediately because the buttons were easy to find and with ears phones he could listen to things repeatedly without disturbing others in the house. He continues to have people record verses on that one. He wanted one for songs, so he could memorize words to them and the quality is good enough that he can understand the words and learn the tune. He uses the third to record talks or letters or have people record things on them so he can send it back and forth, they are durable enough for that. They are reasonable enough that buying a few for varied purposes does not break your budget. Others can listen to it in an open room setting. Once you know where the buttons are you do not need to see them to use any of them and the battery seems to last a long time even when used daily. It is small enough that it fits in his chest pocket and he takes it when he walks. No complicated button pushing to do. Push record and it records. Hit pause, it stops but stays on so when you push record again, you are in the same folder. The tone is good and it is easy to use. The volume is adjustable and the speaker works well. I love it.
