However, it got great reviews and I thought I would give it a try. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It is made of a very sturdy and snag-free material. It is thick, waterproof, nylon that contains heavy-duty stitching. The vest is definitely on the bigger side, in general, but has plenty of ways in which it can be adjusted. The straps to secure the vest around the waist are very comfortable - they are wide and contain a thick piece of Velcro to keep the vest in place while working out. It has a water bottle holder on the side and headphone wire holder in the top. I opted for the 60lb vest, so it came with a variety of weights. I can tell that it is extremely well-made and will last me a long time. (I will come back and update my review if that doesn’t happen, but I doubt it will!) Only thing I would have loved is if the weights, that came with the vest, were marked.
