I recently bought an Action Camera, Gimbal and Video Light without thinking it all through as carefully as I might; I needed an extra hand to hold the light steady. The solution was staring me in the face; a triple cold shoe adapter; this screws onto the bottom of my gimbal extension pole and holds my video light firmly in position below my camera. The triple shoe adapter gives many different options for holding microphones or other accessories. I just wish they had included a rubber surface underneath so I could mount my light below.
