The second book following "The Midwife is ... *by F***S on July 27, 2014* Wonderful book. The second book following "The Midwife is Here!". Most sequels don't measure up to the original story. Linda Fairley's writing on the continuation of her journey is terrific and just as enchanting as her first book. Far from mushy, Ms. Fairley's writing is filled with warmth, humor, and the inevitable changes and losses in life as we grow into our later years. I found myself retelling some of her midwife stories in conversation with friends, resulting in laughs and other shared stories.
