I substitute this for regular milk whenever I need to use milk.That said, the packaging is HORRIBLE! On the top of the carton is a plastic tab glued down to enable you to open the container but have a fairly tight seal when you close it. So far I have opened 3 of the twelve cartons and the top tab (the whole piece of plastic) came off of EVERY ONE of them! So, I close it using a strip of painter's tape. What a pain!I have never had trouble with one of these tabs and have purchased several of them in the past from various manufacturers and stores. However, I did purchase some from another vendor on Amazon (the only other time I have purchased cartoned milk online before), and that opening was defective as well - the top of the foil tab on the carton tore off and the hole was still covered up.Not sure why Amazon's vendor's end up with the defective cap, but I will rethink my purchase next time. ### ⭐⭐⭐ when we found it in the supermarket we were so happy especially because of the added protein *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 5, 2016* our child has dairy allergies, but thankfully likes almond milk. however, it lacks protein. when we found it in the supermarket we were so happy especially because of the added protein. when our supermarket stopped carrying the 1/2 gallon containers, we didnt know where to turn. luckily we found it on amazon and ordered a whole bunch of them. while the product is as described, and has the same taste, the packaging was terrible. the milk containers came in a beat up box, not even a sturdy well made box. as a result, many of the milk cartons were dented as well. furthermore, there was no label on the box to tell the carrier it was a delicate item, so it was left on our front porch in the summer heat for who knows how long. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on May 23, 2016* I purchased this for my son.
