They're married now, with two adorable kids and Isabel wants to go back to work and of course Romero isn't fond of the idea because he likes having his wife at home with his family. I know you're probably thinking he's a caveman misogynist who wants his woman barefoot and pregnant all the time and to a certain extent he does, but this time he's not happy with the idea of Izzy spending time with the professor who will be working side by side with her.It's been a long time since Romero and Izzy got together and they've grown a lot since the last time I saw them. Romero used to fly off the handle at the drop of a hat but he's learned to rein it in and I was proud of him in this book. He knows now that he has kids and actually stops to think rationally about things before he goes off. Isabel knows Romero so well and has learned what triggers his overprotective side and even though she gives him a reason to worry for a little bit I was happy their story turned out so adorably sweet as it did. I loved seeing Romero's uncle Manny and Max again because there is never a dull moment with those two around. It wouldn't be a Moreno Brothers story if it didn't feature my favorite brothers and luckily we get several glimpses of everyone and get a look at how they are doing. Tangled is the perfect holiday gift for the Moreno fans out there that is sure to make you all warm inside with the love between these two characters. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Merry Romero Christmas! *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2014* Tangled was a very cute and amusing Christmas novella. Romero is one of my favorite characters in the Morenos Brothers series. Now that he's married with kids he's come a long way in controlling his hot-headed tendencies.Izzy is excited about going back to work. Romero isn't crazy about the idea but he wants to be supportive. He's especially not crazy about Izzy working for a handsome, newly-divorced professor who seems to admire Izzy just a little too much.But it's Christmas time so Izzy's secrets and little white lies she's known for around the holidays combined with Romero' s shit-stirring uncles, Manny and Max, make Romero jump to conclusions many, many times. Luckily his Izzy knows how to handle him.I didn't like how many times Romero referred to Izzy as perfect. That puts some high expectations on her shoulders. Which we also had to witness by the amount of slack Izzy was NOT afforded. It felt like everyone was watching for a wrong move. I guess that's how it is with big families though. Everyone is in your business.But, overall, it was a fun holiday read. Izzy and Romero had two children in this story and Izzy was a stay at home mother for the past several years. According to Izzy, It was time to get back to work, if only on a part-time basis after getting her MBA in education.. Izzy chose to teach at the local college where she would be working with a cute Professor. Needless to say, Romero was not happy with this idea and started to have bad feeling about the professor. At Thanksgiving, the professor finagled his way into dinner with Izzy and her family, and the hackles on Romero's neck stand out like a Harlot in Church!!! After Izzy discovered she was pregnant she devised the tangled web of lies to keep a secret from Romero- she was pregnant with their third child. She wanted to tell him at Christmas.. Romero started to think Izzy was cheating on him and the tangled web began to unwind..
