I don’t think there will be any breaking this. It is built like a tank! It has nice little non-skid feet, too. The only thing is, it might be a little harder to wash than my old one. And the box said it was not dishwasher safe. So, I recommend washing immediately after using so that the egg won’t stick in the nooks and crannies or on the wires.
