I try not to check a bag anymore so size was important — that this folds to a smaller size makes it ideal. It boils water quickly and handles easily. I looked at all the reviews of the other pots and this one had the best reviews and I agree with those good reviews. I only use it for water, so I can’t attest to cooking in. The auto shut off worked perfectly. I like that the handle folds down to make it even more compact and I like that the cord is detachable and has a decent amount of length to it to make it functional without having to keep the pot on the floor. I can’t speak to durability yet, it feels well made. I haven’t tried the dual voltage yet, but it looks simple enough to turn the switch under the base. I needed something that would travel nicely. As the cord on this one separates from the pot, it makes packing easier (as does the fact that it is collapsible). I haven't had to clean it yet (aside from the initial, out of the box, use soapy water bit). I can foresee it being a bit difficult for some as the top opening is a bit small.
