I think medium would have fit better.It’s very comfortable when nursing and pumping. Go down a size if you order. I didn’t find this to be flattering at all, material is not forgiving. I could see this being functional for nursing when you’re at home but it’s not something I would wear out, it’s just ill fitting and again not very flattering. It covers my butt and doesn't look good enough to wear out in public. Looks more like a lazy wear around the house kind of shirt. It's not impractical so I'll keep it. But I'm a bit bummed that the size of it made it look nothing like the shirt pictured above. It's long, huge and frumpy and the picture above looks tapered around the waist and has a flared out bottom. This shirt is a meh. Not horrible. Still wearable. But meh.
