The pump removes the excess air in order to improve the freshness of the food inside and keeps food fresh for up to 5 times longer.Foods such as cereal, pasta, crisps, nuts, cured meats and coffee can be stored for a greater period of time whereas liquids, fresh meat and vegetables have a more short-term basis. This reduces the number of times you have to buy a food product as the vacuum container will preserve the contents.Care instructions:Clean before first use. Please remove lid before placing in a microwave oven. It is suitable for reheating purpose.Do not microwave for over 3 minutes. Do not microwave very greasy and sugary foods as the temperature may rapidly reach 200°C (392°F). Do not over pump.
