Perhaps I pressed too hard? Perhaps it’s because it’s a pearlescent black car. Other positive reviewers may have already mentioned some, but I feel it worth mentioning again as below.- It eliminates small scratches, and also reduce larger scratches. I still have some larger scratches left after applying this product. For those, touch paint is the only solution. No surprise there.- Don't involve water before and after. You can use water to clean the surface first, but make sure it's dry before you apply this product. Don't use water to rinse right after you apply this product. Use the dry cloth to wipe it clean and let it sit for three days. Then you can wash it if you want.For those negative reviews:- Someone simply said it doesn't work. I have hard time believing that.- Someone said that it left the greasy spots. If you have small scratches like from fingernails or branches, this towel wipes them away like magic. Someone dragged their nails down the entire length of my car and they are now gone. Also, it wiped away door mark scuff almost in two wipes. I was skeptical and now I am a believer. The surface scratches disappear with very little effort. If you put some elbow grease into the deep scratches it will significantly improve the appearance of the scratches.
