You can brew it into a tea form and sip a cup, or you can make a tincture by letting it sit it vodka or vegetable glycerin for about 3 months, shaking it daily. I prefer the alcohol method personally as I think it extracts the healing properties better than the glycerin does, especially when dealing with roots. You can always add mint to the root while making the tincture to add a better flavor to the tincture.
