I've been running for over ten years since I was a teen and I've had plantar fasciitis, both knees have had injury to them and these shoes have helped with those. BUT, I have also been to PT and have worked on strengthening my muscles as well. I have what I can a duck left foot and it's hard to find a shoe that doesn't irritate my left foot, but this shoe was the answer. Also a note to anyone considering buying them, their sizing is a bit tricky and may not be what you normally wear. I denied it but I needed a 10.
