Burned my tongue. Couldn’t eat the rest of the evening. And the morning after. It was textured which would have been nice except my tongue got super hot and heavy while chewing it . Important question honestly, because unfortunately, it's not "CHALK", it's not that simple and chalk isn't naturally liquid. People who respond to important questions in a smart-aleck way are literally causing the decline in our basic industry standards. **Q: how many lifts will this last me?** A: A box of eight identical blocks from a different manufacturer has lasted me nearly three years. I use it only when I deadlift heavy (without straps, hook grip, around 475 lbs now; started using it at around 275), which was twice a week for approximately the first 15 months I used the chalk, and then once a week since. For the past six months I've also used it for trap bar Farmer's carries of ~ 425 pounds once or twice a week. I'm beginning to use it once a week for heavy presses. Your mileage will vary, obviously, based on which lifts you use it for. I keep it crumbled in a Ziploc bag so it's not open in a bowl or otherwise exposed to humidity.
