I usually make my own or use Equiderma brand which is also another great company .At any rate It was a super hot summer 2025 so I was hosing my horses down with cold water almost daily and then spraying them done w this fly spray .Long story short both horses lost a lot of their fur and their skin became very red , swollen and inflamed . It looked like rain rot but way worse . It was really bad and scary not knowing what the cause was .I was able to figure out the issue when my sister had the very same issue with her horses from using the Fly Bye so be careful with Fly Bye brand fly spray . It’s not all an all natural Fly spray as touted .Thank God I found the Coat Defense products here on Amazon !! I first used the Coat Defense spot Drying Paste which worked extremely quickly like the next day I found a huge difference in healing.I also used the powder by Coat Defense as a preventative to help keep the skin /fur dry and prevent the issue from spreading which this particular condition liked to do .
