I am African American and can't use a razor because it gives me a bad case of ingrown hairs and razor bumps. I had a rough time searching for another electric shaver for my skin type while abroad. I vowed to never make that mistake again and began looking for a quality battery powered trimmer. Fast forward 2 years, was impressed by the reviews on this product and took a chance. This little thing worked great for a month in SE Asia and didn't require one battery change.
